Explanation

You deserve an explanation for why I've been away. I'll tell you why. I had to take myself away from you and give you the chance to grow on your own. I didn't want to hold you back any more. You didn't need me. It took a while, but as I watched you grow from a distance pain began to grow within me, and I realized that though you didn't need me, I needed you. And so I came home.
